One doesn’t need any introduction to actor Prakash Raj, who is known for his outspokenness. In addition to being a versatile actor in the Film Industry, he is quite open about his stand on various political and moral values. The actor has taken a dig at Kangana Ranaut amid her tussle with Shiv Sena. He shared a meme and joked about her frequent comments on playing Rani Laxmi Bai in her film ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’.
In his post on social media platform Twitter, he shared a picture of other actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Hrithik Roshan, and others who have played historical characters. The meme reads, “If one film makes Kangana think that she is ‘Rani Laxmi Bai’ then Deepika is Padmavati, Hrithik is Akbar, Shah Rukh is Ashoka, Ajay is Bhagat Singh, Aamir is Mangal Pandey and Vivek is Modi Ji.”

It is well known that Kangana and Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut’s war of words grabbed a lot of attention after she compared Mumbai to Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK). He even asked her not to return to Mumbai if she feels so. Soon after the tussle, the BMC demolished what they claimed as ‘illegal’ portions of her office in Mumbai on September 9. She started getting support from her fans and BJP.
Soon after this incident, now, Sanjay Raut has reacted to BJP supporting Kangana and called it ‘unfortunate’. He said it was unfortunate that the BJP is backing Kangana despite the actress likening Mumbai to Pak-occupied Kashmir, and added this was done with an eye on Bihar polls.
On the other hand, earlier, responding to the demolition, BJP’s Devendra Fadnavis had said Uddhav Thackeray and the Maharashtra government should focus on fighting coronavirus instead of Kangana Ranaut’s comments.
