The way coronavirus is affecting the whole world is alarming. The pandemic has almost taken over the world, especially, the situation in India is quite critical. Amid the worsening situation, doctors have emerged as the “real heroes of India” and have been selflessly serving the country amid the pandemic. However, to ensure their safety from the highly contagious infection, doctors need to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) suits. To avoid the risk of getting infected from the novel coronavirus, doctors are wearing PPE kits.
It is not just the dreadful infection from which a doctor has to deal with. Doctors and healthcare staff also have to face extreme heat and humid conditions and wearing a PPE suit just makes it harder for them to deal with the pandemic.
Anyway, in order to cheer the doctors and healthcare staff amid the ongoing pandemic and the continuous rising temperature, a doctor in Mumbai found a new way to spread positivity and joy among everyone. Dr Richa Negi, who is Mumbai-based doctor, took to Instagram to share a video of her dancing to the song Garmi featuring Nora Fatehi from the movie Street Dancer 3D. While sharing the video on her Instagram account, Richa said that she “won’t let the negativity of the situation get to us even while serving the patients in this GARMI-ful but so graceful outfit”.
She further explained, “HAPPY DOCTOR’s DAY To All My Colleagues and The FrontLine Workers Out There Putting Up A Brave Smile In The Face Of This Adversity and Doing Their Best To Help The Nation. If We Can Stay Positive Through Risking Our Lives, Y’all Can Be A Lil Positive Too About This Extended Lockdown.! Stay Home Peepz.”
She added, “Always Loved The Vibe Of This Song But Now That It Clearly Matches The Feeling of Every Doctor Wearing The PPE KIT, (haaye garmi).! I Couldn’t Stop From Making A Video On It.”
